Where was the key when this happend?
The water jet of the car wash can cause to trunklid to open. But usually only if the key is outside the car close to the trunk.
Due to this the key should be placed in the key molding in the center console during a carwash.
I hve my X3 now for 17 month, use the BMW key cover and my trunk never opened without reason. |
