Not sure what they charge but I just went through all this. I actually read for about 10 minutes and said F-it and ordered off Amazon a Bluetooth adapter. That was about $24. Then I downloaded the bimmercode app for free. Once I had the app I had to do an in app purchase to unlock the coding and bam all set.
I can do everything that link can do and remove it just as fast. I also did my girlfriends 3 series. So glad I went this route. LOVE the Alpina dash. The blue is so sharp looking at night.
