Our X3 does not have this noise. however, we had an issue that appears to be similar to this on an older Honda Odyssey. It turned out to be a bad strut that would create a rumbling sound over certain pavement. Once the strut was replaced, the rumbling stopped. It took an act of Congress to get Honda to do it under warranty.
