BMW NA is not stupid. BMW lives off mod-happy, returning customers like us and they will never us flag us for petty stuff like aftermarket exhaust. My BMW dealer even offered me to order and install the Akrapovic exhaust. |
It's a case by case, dealer and SA. At least up here in NY NJ tri state. Some dealers are more mod happy, others a downright Debbie downers.
