There is almost no circumstance under which an exhaust should void your warranty other than any warranty on your exhaust system, or like, if it fell off while you were driving and damaged and bunch of other stuff, which is unlikely, but, I suppose, possible. |
I know of someone that got a crack head and BMW NA said due to CAI. Owner lost. |
Any aftermarket is still a possible red flag if BMW NA wants to be an ass. The money alone to take to court and fight is stupid. So going in there and taking the aftermarket route is always a remote possibly. Exhaust is more than likely bad cats need to be replaced on your dime.
