I've got the summer MPS4S's and they are epic, a big upgrade over the stock Contis.
But why sacrifice performance for all year average performance? For me it would make more sense to have winters and swap over when the conditions get bad?

I can understand how some people prefer not to be inconvenienced or pay for a whole set of winter and summer tire sets. I get it. We are all inherently somewhat lazy and need to allocate scarce resources were we see fit. We have to understand some of us do like to spend those resources to swap tires depending on seasons to get the most grip and fun out of our vehicles, while others rather spend those same resources on other activities. We are all different and unique and differences need to be embraced so long as nobody is limiting your freedom. I would think nobody who prefer all-season tires is limiting your freedom to change your tires/wheels given the season? Live and let live.
