Most of the vehicles you can drive without someone in the car with you. They are not new cars for sale so you also don't have to feel bad about winding them out etc. Also the drives are typically longer. For example with the 7 series release that I did i was just handed the keys and told "see you in a few hours". I don't expect this to be to that level, but it is a different experience than a test drive. They also are typically not selling you so no pressure.
