What are the differences in options? You experience/don't experience noise, and you have/haven't:
- Moonroof?
- Bigger wheels? 17", 18", 19" or bigger
- Brand of tyres?
- Type of tyres? All year, summer, winter, runflats?
- Dynamic Dampers/Sports dampers/normal dampers?
- M sport vs Standard? (the difference in aerodynamics)
- Maybe even US vs. Euro models?
- Engine variations? Diesel (non US) or Petrol? 20, 30 or 35 variants.
- Mudflaps?
Just trying to figure out if it could be something else than a production error.

The sound insulation issue is not only while driving, it happens when you are stopped. All I can think is the Door seals or window glass thickness. Does tinting the front windows will solve the problem? Cuz the only difference in Saab was the front windows are tinted black with 25% visibility and rear windows are 5% visibility. (I know it's not legal
)
I have excessive traffic/outdoor noise:
-> No moon-roof
-> 245/55 R17 Bridgestone Dueler - All seasons
-> US spec
-> 28i - 3.0L Naturally Aspirated Inline-6 (one of the most refined and smooth engine I ever drove)
-> Pretty much base model with only Conv & Cold weather pkg
