I also only pay $100 at my local dealer
and my dealer does front end alignments for $179
So yes, these rates are higher than "normal", but if this dealer is the only one in the area they can charge more - supply and demand.
Some dealers are in downtown LA vs. rural mid-west... which also effects rates and prices.
Some dealers discount the cars for sale, and hope to recoup money in service... some dealers sell their cars higher and have better service prices.
There are a lot of factors.
