11/22 UPDATE thought Id share - I called AFE Power to inquire about the drop in filter for the 2020 M40i and they said they do not have anything available, and looked around a bit and said they dont even have plans to R&D the 2020.
I told them I was part of the forums and there is A LOT of interest. I was told that we can submit request on their website and filling out product request forms with year make and model.
That will "ring bells for the R&D teams" that there is a market and to review options.
