Sorry for the stupid question....but why the assumption that the new M3/4 won't make these numbers? I thought that the M3/4 version might even be a little hotter than the SUV version personally. In previous M5 #s....has the M5 had a detune version of the X5/6M? |
Well I have no info backing my assuming and yes the X5M s63 is detuned from the M5 I believe but I assume this because an M3 with 533WHP would probably be faster than the M5 which I doubt bmw would do from the factory. I mean imagine 533WHP in a 3700lb sedan vs the m5s 4300+ weight. I think the M3 would take it in a straight line if that was its power. Time will tell though. Again, just an assumption.
