There is a 2nd video with the owner inspecting the wreckage after the fact. You can see clearly it's a previous gen X3.
Good to know the car was sturdy and secure enough to keep the thief from suffering dire bodily harm. It reminds me another video showing a X1 gotten airborne in EU before entering a tunnel a little while ago.
