It's weird. Previously it used to be a big deal chasing that extra 0.1 seconds in the 0-60 or 1/4 mile. Sounds used to matter. Reliability used to matter. Looks used to matter. Soon enough a base electric Kia will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a iM3 will do it in 1.8. Somehow it doesn't sound as exciting.
