Whew!, sounds like you're really paying a premium in Australia. With the AUD and the USD essentially at parity (today's quote was 1.0108 USD:AUD) that means you are paying more then double of what it costs in the US or about about 80% more than the cost in the UK. (AUD 105K = USD 106K).

I'm wondering if that is due to BMW's price structure or does Australia impose a high import duty? Either way, you have our sympathy.
