Hi,
I am considering the X3M wheels, the 892M model, for the 2022 iX3. Officially they are not compatible, but I have seen several M40 models with these wheels mounted.
Are there any differences in the fender, wheel well or suspension clearance between the X3 models that suggest that the 892M will not physically fit on the iX3?
I am aware of possible wheel load capacity issues.
For the front axle, the 892M will have the following impact compared to the 20" 890M:
- Tire 10mm closer to suspension
- Rim 24mm closer to suspension
- Rim sticks out 14mm more towards the fender
- Approx scrub radius is -6mm
