Not much cloudiness on vision of sight compared to other films because thickness is between a PPF and a tint so install is easier on glass. Do notice minor scratches now that are visible during the morninng and evening sun light angle. Saw 3-4 small nicks on it from rock hits which I don't think made it to the glass surface. My previous car's windshield didn't have a crack but so many small glass chips that made glass look terrible. Most likely will replace this film every 2-3 years as it wears out.
I’ve noticed a bunch of small nicks in mine and have been looking for options other than replacing the whole windshield. When you had yours installed did it mask the pre-existing nicks or make them more visible?
Had it installed first week of picking it up new from the dealership so pre-existing nicks do not apply in my case. if you have few nicks it could protect from future ones and also from major rock hit causing a crack to replace the windshield.
