Another weird and dumb move by BMW, calling a car M40i but not coming with B58 like the 340
.. I agree B58 will come with next gen.
From the reads.. its the M235 engine w/ S55 parts correct
Engine from M2 is coming to M40i detuned from 370 to 355 and no DCT or Overboost feature. So this new engine by itself its already day and night difference than the standard X3 35i which is already solid.

Crashnbrn5 13.8 he did on his X3 35i. Then to compare to my ECU Flash + DP X3 28i that did 13.68 & 13.8.
