So a couple of things:
1) They will look very hard, since the money is NOT coming out of their pockets. This is a common misconception. The warranty is underwritten by an insurance company. The dealership gets paid for warranty work just like they do for customer pay work - no difference to them.
2) If you want a solid report - take it anywhere and have them do a PPI on the vehicle (pre purchase inspection). Just tell them you want to have them note any and all issues that may be wrong with the car. You can then see which of these items are covered under your warranty and have them repaired. Typical PPI on a BMW is going to run around $150.
