I'm retired at 60 and getting a check. House is paid off, plenty of income from investments (even after the recent drop). I just didn't spend my working life buying stupid shit like $4K aftermarket exhausts and other dalliances. It's not how much you make, its how much you save. I know plenty of people making mid six figures that dont have squat put away for a rainy day, much less retirement. You can't always judge a book by its stimulus check.
