tbh, w/ it being AWD i don't think it's as important traction wise (don't get me wrong, i would love to see 315's on the rear) to have very wide tires. also, those wide tires are heavy as hell
Maybe the already heavy weight was the reason for the skinnier tires
BMW M Division definitely should've added a Carbon Fiber Roof option to keep some weight down. I think the panoramic moonroof adds approximately 70 pounds and a standard moonroof adds 40+ pounds. All could be eliminated to save top/heavy unnecessary weight.
Pano roof is probably 100-150 lbs more than steel roof alone and 150-200 lbs more than a mythical CFRP roof. Now the big question though is the listed weight of 4600 lbs with or without pano roof??
