Expecting our X3M Comp without panoramic roof to weigh in less than 4500lbs, so your F90 still has about 150-200lbs less weight in city traffic for acceleration where it matters most. On Hwy no doubt the aerodynamics of your M5 should allow improved efficiency over our X3M, everything else including driving style being the same. Back in 2014 I looked at HP required for different constant speeds on the Hwy, where aerodynamics take precedence and weight plays less of a role, and this is where you would shine, esp at speeds 90mph and up. Take 90mph as an example - the 550i needed about 50HP to maintain speed in this simulation, whereas the X3 35i needed about 70HP. At 110mph, the 550i needs abt 84HP, the X3 - 118HP.

What I don't know, does a 6cylinder 500HP engine producing 118HP use the same amount of gas as a 300HP 6 cylinder?
