Oh I see, the random review sites list it differently. Seeing as they don't even agree with each other, I think it's safe to say that you should trust BMW (the manufacturer) technical documents for a vehicle over a random website.

AutoExpress and Car Magazine are british mags so they pull data from the euro testing cycle which is more optimistic than ours. The UK also uses the Imperial Gallon which is 4.5 liters while the US gallon is 3.7 liters. That also explains the higher MPG from the british mags.
