Lead is stretching it, the i3 is a special car, build from the bottom up as a EV, with a Carbon coupe, impressive little thing, it really have not gotten the credit it deserves!
The iX3 is not close to being a serious concept, as it is pretty much a cheap solution using the ICE chassi and holding the cost at a minimum, meanwhile you loose all the benefits that comes from building an EV as a EV from the start, like the i-pace.
So when BMW chooses the budget solution, the EV train that they started so good with the i01, is slipping away. The i4 is a 3GT is interesting, so is the inext, both are not far behind the iX3.
