I originally ordered the 265/45R-20 PIRELLI SCORPION WINTER for the rear, tire rack called and said the 285 would fit better. I am slightly concerned about the size difference in the front and rear. How has your experience been so far?

No problems so far. On reflection I may have even gone the 265, 295 route which is my summer set up and look as if they should be stock size for the M. Most of winter I am driving on clear roads but with temps below freezing. I think that wider winter tires work for such conditions, and look better too. I have been happy with handling on snow and ice which I always treat with due respect anyway. I think that 255/45, 20x9, 285/40, 20x10.5 is a reasonable compromise between form a function for winter.
