I kind of cheated!... My car is from pre-spec’d stock. I know my local BMW dealer quite well. I had actually popped in last weekend to have a look around the new G05 with a view to upgrade my wife’s F15 maybe next year. There was a G01 M40i in the showroom and while I was taking a look around, the sales guy told me that they have a promotion on current stock up to end of Feb before the 19 reg plates from March. We went out for a test drive and I was impressed! So... I ended up browsing through BMW UK G01 stock specs and picked out this one!!
So I’ve only been waiting 1 week so far and only have 1 week to go!
If I had spec’d from scratch, I think I would have gone for blue with cognac on 20’s. The 21s look great but I know will be expensive for tyres. The rest of the spec was pretty much what I wanted. |
That's a sweet scenario - congrats! CA told me to expect delivery 1st week of March, but I'm not buying it.
