Why protector? In my previous model I had no protector and got some BMW cockpit cleaner on the screen, this caused a blemish. Luckily BMW I argued with and they replace it. Just before I give back my 35d I cleaned her up and made the stupid mistake again, just a bit but you could see the score marks.

Not taking that chance with my lovely new baby.

It works a treat, you have to be BANG ON accurate with the placement if you have OCD like me ;-)

I agree with you. I have glass protectors on all the smart phones in my family and the screens look new almost 3 years later. Have not put one on my X3 yet but plan on doing so.

Any difference in touch sensitivity after you install the protector? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
