Perhaps because the comp model is considerably more expensive and adds things that some power don't need (a negligible bump in power for an already blazing fast vehicle and some visual bits that people may/may not like). It's like saying why get the m40i when the x3m is available. Different strokes for different folks.

0.1 second 0-60 is marginal. Just get a normal X3M tuned. Odds of running up against another X3M are going to be slim.
