If you only had the M3, a rear facing infant seat, the wife, a stroller, groceries and are the stuff of nightmares.
I have all of the above being hauled around in mine. They key was going with a GB Pockit which freed up hella trunk space.

Still has me looking at the M5 though.
the m5 has always been extremely tempting. especially with how hard they get hit with depreciation, a 2015 m3 and m5 cost more or less the same amount. I was planning on an M5, but alas, at 21 the insurance was going to be 4500 dollars a year. compared to the grand for the m3
