I have a low voltage cut off device (
this one here on Amazon) and it's set for 11.8V, so yes I get the "Battery Drain" message at car start up, but you can set it to 12.2V or around there and you might not get it.
The message is harmless, it's a matter of whether you can live with it or not. It disappears 10 seconds after popping up. I'd rather have my camera running longer in "parking mode" than to shut off.
Anyway, with the device, you can set it to the voltage setting you are more comfortable with.
