Look if your into BMWs then you kind of just have to accept that they are going to cost $$$.... doesn't matter which model there are always those items/options/packages that will make you say "why Bmw executives?" The net answer is the same: there is a market for them, people will pay to have it. The X4 is no different. I love BMWs, the same thing irks me but at the end of the day I can take my money elsewhere. I choose to buy them and they are always the emotional purchase. If you want practical and bang for buck check out Honda or Toyota. If you like BMW well I guess you have to live with it. It's all about what the market will bare.
