The sound of the old mans voice and how excited he is to have him is about the only thing making me feel remotely better about it. I'll miss the furry bastard for sure.

I appreciate that. I'm pretty damn bummed out about the entire situation, but I'm also not in a place to where I can change my entire life/work schedule. I just keep telling myself that he acclimated to my home pretty quickly and has been a great pet; he'll do the same there.
