It's like that for any M car. The active sound piped in really masks the sound of the exhaust which makes it hard to tell when the valves are open or not from within the cabin. If you disabled active sound you would be able to hear the exhaust MUCH more clearly and it would become obvious when the valves were open or closed. |
I have ASD disables. On my F80 they were always fully open in sport plus, you'll could see the valve if you looked down the pipes.
