I was not trying to say the two were equal, it was just an example of something else that your could do on your own....Like turn on the lights when you want to....Lights being on prevent accidents as well so there is at least a comparison.
But the rest of your post at least attempts to make your case so maybe a more meaningful discussion can now be had.
