Wow, now I feel what my dealership offers is just garbage 3k+1.5k
My sales center offered their launch vehicle to me at invoice also. I don't want that color combo...but if you're offered a special order at invoice then that too is a good deal. But the special order is only $340 more than invoice at the sales center I ordered from so....meh. Just don't pay MSRP. That's only a starting point to negotiate and invoice price still has a hold back for the sales center and they get another bump if they hit numbers in their area...and then they get a dealer bump...it doesn't matter they get paid. Get under invoice and I'd be super impressed.
1.5k comes from BMW so dealership only cuts 3k from their margins...even for my pretty stripe X4M at 74k, that's only about 4% off..I thought it was a good deal couple of weeks ago, but now I guess it's just normal one
That's what I was saying in a previous post. These deals are on BMWNA's website. The fine print says at participating sales centers and they can contribute any amount to the sale and this sale can be combined with other offers/discounts. So, yes, these are standard or "fair" deals. Make sure you get current buyrate .00145 since they try to mark that up in the sales center also. Look over your worksheet carefully in finance before you sign.
