Picked up a 2018 X4 M40i that has most options. One missing is the wireless charging. When ordered on this car is the wireless charger in the armrest or front center console?
I'm trying to determine if I can retrofit it like a cigarette lighter or better yet if there's already a plug in the loom.
Based on what I have found to date it appears the front center console is only on the newer G bodies? Is that correct?
I'd prefer to use the G body location if I doesn't require gutting the entire center console? Either way it looks as if they both may plug into the same place on the loom behind the gear selector?
