I suspect a rattling panoramic roof is the result of years of exploding sunroofs bmw had in years past. It was surmised that the sunroofs were installed with too much pressure and could explode under conditions of climate change. So now we have sun roofs with more tolerance to avoid explosions but rattle like crazy. Thanks, BMW.
