This man is 100% correct. Liqui Moly or another high-quality brand such as Pennzoil works fine. As long as it is 5w-30 you won't have any issues. Personally, I prefer to stick with Genuine 'Original BMW Engine Oil' when I can, as it performs the best IMHO.
