UPDATE: Problem SOLVED!!
The rattle was caused by the starter having a loose gear shaft , every time I went uphill the starter gear would slide towards the flywheel teeth making a rattling noise (like having nuts/bolts in a washing/dryer machine going round and round).
Replaced the starter , problem solved.
