When you drive a base M and and a M Competition back to back, you will understand why. It's not just about power you're getting with the Competition, the ride is stiffer and not everyone wants to drive a car with a stiff suspension.
I will take a M3/M4 and M5 over a M3/M4 Competition and M5 Competition any day for that reason alone. Higher trim isn't necessarily always better. |
Fair point, though I own the M5C and have been pretty satisfied with the comfort level of the ride and suspension in the comfort settings. I suppose it's subjective.
