So like me you paid unnecessarily to replace your battery and lpfp. Maybe dealer will give you some kind of credit for misdiagnosis? Or call BMW directly and complain and see what happens?

I am guessing that replacing EKPS will finally resolve your issue. $766 is about $100 more than I paid a year ago for same work. IMO this is a huge safety issue for BMW. If it happened to us you know it has also happened to others.
