I tell you this what; when you're on the autobahn drivers expect high speed cars passing so they don't hog the left lanes, in the rare occasions a slow moving car uses the left lane to pass an even slower car the drivers are more attentive because they have to be as they are expected. in North America ( Canada worst than the states) you need to be an idiot to pass a drivers license test, driving is boring in this part of the world and unfortunately people rely solely on signs and lights and speed limits without using the right judgement for driving, which if they did, would eliminate a lot of accidents and useless traffic.
ps. I didn't vent enough, but thank you for giving me the opportunity to lash out a bit, while still being a lot more conservative than I'd like to be.
