It's not the speed but the differential in speed that's the factor here.
I know that's a dampener on this thread but I think this sort of stuff should be left to be on a track

Totally agree. The root cause of many accidents is speed differential combined with poor lane discipline and with poor driver behavior - which is the biggest unknown at all times regardless of speed.
