I know she's a widow, but this situation hurt me. I went from enjoying her company to wondering if we should break up.
I'm going to continue trying to fix things, but I'm not opposed to ending things if it gets too crazy. I went through a lot with my ex and I don't want to hang around for years to see if things improve.
