I'm hoping the pause in North America marketing may indicate BMW re-thinking how to roll it out? Perhaps sensing from Dealer (and Forum?) feedback that many are waiting for August and iD7, and realizing it's less than optimal to begin production with 'temporary' iD6 versions for 2-3 months. As none of us have real knowledge of the actual details this could be an incorrect assumption, of course. But going with the prevailing theory -

Might be better to hit the road running with a complete package from the start. Get the NA website builder up and running, let Dealers know they can start taking orders, and make sure whatever you are allowing for model year 2020 will be the real deal. Doubt many of us waiting to place our orders will mind waiting a few months.

Understand the need to keep Corporate marketing strategy close to the vest, but you have an interested Enthusiast base so it would be helpful to share at least some of the details relevant to those waiting to order.
