The new Drive Recorder option requires ID7. Since BMW hasn't added the X3 to the list for Summer 2019, it seems to confirm no ID7 for Summer 2019.
Aside from the Drive Recorder and Backup Assistant, ID7 isn't all that loved of an update. Maybe one day BMW will add Android Auto which will be very welcome! |
April 2020 is for the X3M/X4M. The regular X3/X4 should be getting ID7 by this Fall together with the G30. |
