BMW ventilated seats don't cool, by the way. It's one of the things we disliked most about our 750. BMW is quite explicit about that distinction. Thats why we didn't bother to spec ours with them. Our Porsche, as well as Infiniti and Ford all cooled great. I find the seats to be quite firm with a lot of lateral support.
