Just to have input on the issue. My battery had to be replaced while the BMW Genius was going over the controls of the vehicle. Cost me an hour during closing. I'm not mad but something is up with either the battery, the power consumption or the sensitivity of the vehicle saying you need a new battery. Mine would still crank and I asked if I could just drive it off and head home (3 hour drive) and take it locally if it did not clear. Selling dealer insisted on a new battery. Maybe a bad batch of batteries which is acceptable.
