I’ve only had mine for a month, but it has sat unlocked and not driven for a week at a time (during paint protection).
The other day I had it on for over an hour when hardwiring my radar.
During the week I only drive 4 miles, usually about 30 on the weekend.
Something is wrong with yours and it is not because you are leaving it unlocked.
