One positive thing, for me at least, the iX3 is by far the coolest looking EV. I mean it looks just like an X3 and have the same exact dimensions. Of course there are some small differences. But I don't mind those.

But this is not enough to offset the bad performance and the lack of XDrive. Personally I think this is more a "won't" than "can't". Because we see the same with their X3 PHEV, they could easily pair their electric enigine with with the nicely tuned B48 with 252 hp. Like Audi has done in their Q5 PHEV and Volvo in their XC60 PHEV. Instead they choose to only offer it with the low tuned B48 of 184 hp, like they put in the X3 20i.

Why do they do that. Maybe to protect their MPerfomance line. I don't know.

Still hoping for an iX3 with XDrive and MPerformance (70-100 more hp then the iX3), but won't hold my breath waiting.
