Yep, this is the main reason why BMW's CEO is being outed, because he isn't getting with the times and pushing electrification. While I personally don't want an electric car yet, I do think they are important, and while I'm not a fan of Tesla's that much, one thing they're doing that no one else (other than maybe the Bolt) is range. The fact that the EQ C and E-Tron and even iPace get in the low 200's is pretty dissapointing, and while it may be fine for daily commutes, these are SUVs, cars to be used for road trips, and its not like Audi, Jag or Merc have their own supercharger stations. If the BMW iX3 can hopefully overcome what seems to be the main hurdle for other brands, and get closer to 300 miles or even more (which I have doubts it will, but will hold judgement) I will be more impressed.
Honestly, despite it still being far from production, I'm much more interested in the upcoming i4.
